Dr. Lambert will speak at the Inaugural Formulation Strategies for Improved Delivery of Biologics conference scheduled on May 5-6 in Boston, MA. This conference is part of the Biologics Delivery Summit.

Topics include protein delivery, large volume delivery, bolus injections, delivery devices such as pens and auto injectors for drug delivery, high viscosity injectors, protein device combinations, protein and peptide products, pen injectors, pen needles and auto-injectors for self-injection, integration of formation and devices.

Bill LambertDr. Lambert heads the Innovative Drug Delivery Group at MedImmune, the biologics division of AstraZeneca. His group assesses novel formulation- and device-based approaches to deliver drug and vaccine candidates. Prior to MedImmune, he held various positions at the Upjohn Company, Pfizer, Eisai, and finally Pacira Pharmaceuticals, where he was Sr. VP of Pharmaceutical Development. He is a member of the Advisory Boards of J. Pharm. Sci., AFPE, NIPTE, the Handbook of Pharmaceutical Excipients, and the USP Excipient Expert Committee.
