On-Site Tour of  LabCorp’s Center for Molecular Biology & Pathology (CMBP)

 

6:00-8:00 On-Site Laboratory Tour and Reception

Join your colleagues for an evening of networking at LabCorp’s Center for Molecular Biology & Pathology (CMBP) in the Research Triangle Park.   Enjoy a tour of the facility:

  • View state-of-the-art instrumentation
  • Visit multiple laboratories focusing on various disciplines, including molecular oncology, infectious disease, cytogenetics, and flow cytometry
  • Interact with our key scientists and thought leaders

We will conclude with a lively evening reception featuring cocktails and delicious gourmet hors d'oeuvres. 

Detailed Agenda:

5:30 pm 

Bus pick-up begins at the Sheraton Hotel and continues until 6:10 pm

Reception begins and continues until 8:00 pm with hors d'oeuvre stations and bar

Brief welcome from LabCorp executives and Duke Translational Medicine Institute

Tours of CMBP begin; anticipate 4 groups starting at 6:20, 6:30, 6:40, and 6:50

Please Note: This is a walking tour, so please wear comfortable shoes. Also, please keep in mind that you will be visiting a biological research facility thus closed shoes and long pants are encouraged and required for the complete tour. A modified tour will be provided for those not wearing closed shoes and long pants.
