Cambridge Healthtech Institute (CHI) is seeking exceptional candidates for the following, full-time position: MARKETING ASSISTANT.

The Marketing Assistant assists in the execution of marketing promotion plans for select repeat conferences and related products, under the supervision of the Senior Marketing Director or VP of Marketing. PRIMARY DUTIES of CHI’s Marketing Assistant position 

  • Coordinate all event calendar listings in publications and websites
  • Execute several template email campaigns per week
  • Complete market research projects and produce reports from marketing database
  • Coordinate various marketing-fulfillment duties and systems
  • Record action items at the weekly marketing meeting and distribute to the marketing team
  • Maintain inventory of marketing materials and promotional giveaways
  • Organize marketing material for display at events; pack and ship to conference locations
  • Provide data entry support as needed
  • Process bills from mail-house and fax-broadcast companies
  • Monitor & report the performance, profitability and costs of existing products and services

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS for CHI’s Marketing Assistant position 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience and/or training in a marketing
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word and Excel proficiency and database experience
  • Experience tracking and completing multiple tasks in a time-sensitive and fast-paced environment

We are seeking candidates with lightning quick and error-free typing skills to fill the position of DATA ENTRY & INTERNET RESEARCH ASSOCIATE. Duties for this position include:

  • Perform high-volume and accurate data entry [Keyboarding (typing) test will be included during the recruitment process!]
  • Update and add records to our marketing database
  • Conduct Internet research to obtain updated contact information on prospects [Internet skills test will be included during the recruitment process!]
  • Identify and remove duplicate records in the database, and correct general data entry errors
  • Process returned mail
  • Process inquiries
  • Occasional filing

Ideal applicants will possess the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years of data entry and Internet research experience
  • Typing speed of at least 50 wpm, with accuracy above 90%.
  • Very strong Word and Excel skills
  • Very strong Attention to detail
