June 30, 2010 | Ozzy Osbourne is having his genome sequenced. St. Louis-based Cofactor Genomics, in conjunction with Knome and Applied Biosystems, will map Ozzy's DNA to try to figure out how he's survived his notorious lifestyle. Osbourne asked Knome to map his genome earlier this year. Knome chose Cofactor Genomics to do the actual sequencing (on an Applied Biosystems SOLiD 4 system), and will provide data analysis and interpretation of the results. St. Louis Post-Dispatch
