Webinar Description:

Removal of drug product residues is an ever-present part of biopharma manufacturing, yet development and validation by conventional methods is time-consuming and unsatisfactory. Uncle provides an answer to these problems in the form of a one-stop, multimodal protein characterization platform that can profile your proteins, optimize your CIP protocols, and validate your cleaning process. Combining three protein characterization methods and the ability to model the reagents, times, and temperatures used for CIP makes Uncle a powerful tool. We discuss how Uncle provides a wide applicability for developing, optimizing, and validating CIP for the requirements of protein production.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn how Uncle can characterize therapeutic proteins using multiple detection methods, such as intrinsic fluorescence and DLS
  • Understand how to prototype and optimize CIP processes at the microliter scale
  • Determine how advanced protein characterization can accelerate CIP validation
